home safe

today went well. i’m home safe with the door locked. i’m sure everyone knows what ‘home safe’ means. i worked all day in the studio(in grad school for mfa) and tonight i plan to read. first a salad of aurugala , olives, mushrooms, pear slices, blue cheese, fresh basil etc. Tomorrow i plan to make a small batch of pesto using the basil plant on my deck. Tons to do so keeping busy is easy.

day one successful. i’m tired, the cats are fed and happy.
